Bong, the Hill-Breaker Bong is a towering giant said to stand taller than the walls of a castle, with shoulders as wide as a drawbridge. His skin is rough like weathered stone, cracked from years of wind and sun, and moss grows in patches along his arms and back as though he were part of the earth itself. Despite his fearsome size, Bong is not a mindless brute. He speaks slowly, his voice deep and echoing like a distant drum. Each word sounds like it has to travel a long way to reach the outside world. Villagers who have heard him say his name claim it rings out like a bell—“Booooong.” That’s how he got it. Origin Bong was born in the high crags beyond the northern kingdoms, where giants are said to shape mountains with their bare hands. Unlike others of his kind, Bong wandered south, drawn by the strange noise of human life—hammering, singing, and bells. Appearance •	Wears a cloak stitched from ship sails and animal hides •	Carries a massive iron bell tied to his belt with chains •	Eyes glow faintly amber in the dark •	Beard tangled with twigs, bones, and bits of lost trinkets Personality Bong is curious and gentle at heart, but easily misunderstood. He doesn’t know his own strength—what he thinks is a light tap can flatten a cart. He loves music, especially bells and drums, and often mimics their sounds. Abilities •	Earthshaker Steps: Each footstep can tremble the ground •	Bell Call: Rings his iron bell to send booming shockwaves across the battlefield •	Stonehide: Skin as tough as granite, making him nearly immune to arrows •	Mountain’s Memory: Can sense vibrations through the earth, detecting movement from miles away Legend Some say Bong guards a forgotten ruin buried beneath a hill he refuses to leave. Others believe he’s waiting for someone—perhaps the only human who ever spoke kindly to him—to return.
